Hexagon HxGN Connect - Cloud-native, real-time incident solution allowing users to share information and coordinate actions
HxGN Connect provides a cloud -based situational awareness and collaboration portal that is the central hub of Hexagon’s smart/safe city solution. HxGN Connect integrates live data from multiple sources including video to present a common operational picture to users. It provides critical, real-time intelligence for more informed decision-making based on live, operational data.HxGN Connect uses the Video Streamer interface product to process video from Milestone XProtect Video Management System (VMS) environments. The Video Streamer interfaces with XProtect in two ways:
1. The Milestone Open Network Bridge is used to receive and process RTSP streams which are then displayed in the HxGN Connect Web user interface.
2. The Milestone Integration Platform (MIP) SDK is used to synchronize camera metadata, pan-tilt-zoom control, video clip creation and audio support.
